Bit Timer has been hailed by Fast Company Design as the "World's Simplest Interval Timer Ever," and it lives up to the praise. With a clean, no-frills design, it allows you to get to your workout in no time. The set-up is super simple, with options to quickly set work, rest, and repeat intervals.

During your workout, Bit Timer provides distinct tones and colors to guide you through each portion. The clear and easy-to-distinguish tones ensure that you can focus on your workout without any confusion.

If you use the HealthKit Integration with watchOS, Bit Timer automatically saves your workouts and helps you close those rings.

One of the standout features of Bit Timer is that it works in the background. This means you can lock your phone, navigate to other apps, and still stay up-to-date with sound and haptic notifications from the timer.

Another useful feature is the ability to save and sync times across your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch using the Favorites function. This ensures quick access to your preferred intervals.

In addition to these key features, Bit Timer offers several other useful functionalities. You can press and drag to quickly set work, rest, and repeat intervals. There is also a 10-second countdown that allows you to get into place before your workout starts (3 seconds on Apple Watch). The app provides three distinct sounds to designate different points in your workout, as well as a warning tone before work intervals begin. You have the flexibility to pause your workout at any time and restart right where you left off. And if you were interrupted and want to start from the beginning, you can reset your workout at any time.
